6/ Jessop submitted his own statement, separate from O'Farrell's. He wrote that two radar paints appeared at a bearing of approximately 280 degrees and a distance of 32 miles from Nowra. About 15 seconds later, another paint appeared in the same area. One return seemed to be tracking towards the base. The other two were moving in a northeast direction. The radar couldn't tell Jessop what produced those returns. It did show three targets in the area at the same time O'Farrell was reporting two...
