Did you know tridactyls have entirely different feet than humans and not just three toes?

Most people focus on the fact that they have three toes, but the entire foot is different. The differences are visible both externally and on CT scans. The heel, the tarsal region, the soft tissue distribution, and the weight bearing pads all differ from those of a human foot. The discussion should not be limited to the number of toes. The entire anatomy of the foot deserves to be examined.
