What is the reason behind alien abductions?

What is it the aliens want well mostly the greys want with humans that they are doing mostly all the alien abductions? I hear some stories the grey aliens are clones, and are sick and they are doing alien abductions on humans so they can find ways to live longer and fix their cloning issues. But I hear there are other grey aliens that are not clones but are they doing abductions?
