Deuterium heavy water was crucial for enriching uranium for our atomic bombs during WWII, it’s essential for a fusion reactor, and it is best mined from seawater. It’s suspected to have lead to fission by Fermi while studying the 1933 Magenta UAP. Now it's been discovered on a new exoplanet.

Deuterium is essential to fusion reactors and is best paired-up with tritium for such, although this hasn't been achieved in full yet. Didn't include it in the post, but I did find that fusion start-ups have been accelerating rapidly these last couple of weeks. In chasing down the story of the 1933 Magenta, Italy UAP crash-retrieval, one thing that's been lining up for me is the idea that it had a fusion reactor propulsion drive similar to the Roswell craft's dependent upon deuterium heavy wa...
