What could be SO important to disclose in such a hurry according to whistleblowers?

Some strange thing I've noticed that recent whistleblowers almost like "begging" for the President to give them immunity to tell everything they know. Now what could be THAT important for humanity that we should know right now and can't wait a single minute any longer? If a 'simple' "we are not alone and we have alien crafts/bodies" I don't understand the "begging" on whistleblowers part.. like that is already disclosed by them under oath and it's still not such an "imminent" matter after all...
