Any stories that actually add up?

In the book I’m reading from Whitley Strieber: Communion… he claims one of NHI communicated to him in English, and now I’m being skeptical… Assuming NHI has been here for decades if not longer…. why are they supposedly still observing and abducting humans? To be honest I’ve never been one to believe abduction stories, but I’m up for listening to some bow. Are there any good stories that add up with stories from others? An outline of things that match and make sense?
