10/15 The UFO element became more prominent after the deaths were reported. Gracinda Barbosa Coutinho later told police that she and her children had seen a bright orange oval object above Vintém Hill on the evening of August 17, surrounded by what she described as a ring of fire and emitting blue rays. The sighting is interesting, but it has to be treated carefully because she didn't report it until after the Lead Masks case had already become huge news.
