Japan doubled defense spending to counter China. Now it wants AI, underwater attack drones and government-owned weapons factories

I mean could this be the reason the US government keeps telling its citizens they come from under the water? Just trying to figure out what the play would be if UFO submerssibles we’re actually just a government attack drones.
