Maybe, the powers that be are trying to force us to become disinterested in aliens by flooding us with non-stop alien news and stories?

Because if they are, then it's honestly working. I've been following this alien shit for a long time now, and it's gotten to the point where I just don't give a shit anymore when I see "new breaking news" or whatever about aliens. Clue after clue, testimony after testimony, this after that, and blah, blah, blah. Nothing ever comes of it and things just crank on as usual. Just fuck off and wake me up when the aliens get here.
