If the USA has reverse engineered tech, how did they lose the Iran war?

Like most others here, I have found the evidence that the US government has advanced technology to be compelling. Whether it is alien tech, hybrid, reverse engineered, or just breakaway physics, we have reason to believe the US is sitting on some crazy technology that could be useful in warfare.
