The gas around 3I/ATLAS moves faster toward the Sun than away from it. That's backwards. And the sulfur is gone.

Two new papers this week. A team in Spain clocked the exhaust at closest approach. Half the speed it should be, and pushing in the wrong direction. Every comet ever measured pushes gas away from the heat. 3I pushes into it. Same team ran a full chemical inventory and found the one element that poisons engines, reactors, and catalysts has been stripped clean. Below the range of any known comet.
