4/ Records obtained through FOIA requests show that this was already a serious problem years before Johnson spoke publicly. The NRC listed at least 57 incursions across 24 nuclear sites between December 2014 and October 2019. Five were closed as resolved, three remained open and 49 were closed unresolved. Those records don't actually tell us that 49 unusual craft visited nuclear sites. They just show that the NRC received the reports and usually reached the end of its process without finding...
