For the life of me I can't find this heavily redacted report I read a couple of years ago of a supposed UAP device that was being studied by an American defense contractor lab.

The report was about a device that was removed from a craft, it looked like two pieces of slightly arched metal bars with writing engraved. One smaller than the other. The report claimed the lab figured out how to enable and disable the device via a redacted method. And while enabled, the large piece could be come spatially coupled with the smaller one as though it were trapped in a magnetic jail relative to the small piece.
