I also think this is why the centrist Dems like @ThirdWayTweet and others are having a hard time making their case. They are associated with supposedly more moderate/centrist Dems like Biden and Harris — but Biden and Harris embraced all the unpopular woke stuff. And so while they can blame the Party's embrace of the unpopular stuff, few can any more trust the centrists as able to maintain their supposed moderation after 2024.
