Grant Cameron is a Canadian researcher whose lifelong work focuses on uncovering the relationship between U.S. presidents and the UFO/UAP phenomenon. He first entered the field in May 1975, during the Vietnam War era, after witnessing what he calls “Charlie Red Star”—a UFO-type object—near Carman, Manitoba. Since then, he has amassed decades of investigations, document searches, and public presentations, positioning himself as a key figure in the disclosure community. He currently lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and runs work under the name “Presidential UFO,” among other projects.
Cameron has devoted much of his capacity to archival research. Over many years, he made more than a dozen trips to the U.S. National Archives and presidential libraries to obtain public records related to UFOs, disclosed and FOIA-requested. Among his reported findings is a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the White House’s Office of Science and Technology during the Clinton administration, which allegedly yielded close to 1,000 pages of documents.
His interests extend beyond physical sightings into broader, sometimes speculative terrain. In 2012 he describes a turning point: a “noetic mental download event” that shifted his attention toward consciousness, inspiration, and “downloads”—concepts involving non-ordinary knowledge transmission associated with creativity, art, science, and contact-type experiences. Cameron has produced publications and content across media. He’s given lectures in Canada, the U.S., and Europe on topics such as the 1975-76 Manitoba sightings, the Canadian Project Magnet (a mid-20th-century UFO investigation), and historical presidential involvement with UFOs.
Some of his books are “Alien Bedtime Stories,” “Inspired: The Paranormal World of Creativity,” and “Tuned-In: The Paranormal World of Music.” Within the disclosure movement, Cameron is often cited for claims that U.S. presidents—from Jimmy Carter to Bill Clinton—have been more involved with UFO/UAP information than is commonly known or acknowledged. These include assertions that certain presidents filed UFO sighting reports, maintained classified knowledge, or that executive branches have had access to materials later obscured or withheld. Some of these claims remain contested among UFO scholars and skeptics. Cameron has received recognition in the ufology community.
He has been awarded “International Researcher of the Year” at the Leeds UFO Conference and “Researcher of the Year” at the International UFO Congress. Some aspects of Cameron’s work are well-documented (archived trips, FOIA-released documents, his books and lectures), while others hinge on personal interpretation, indirect evidence, or reported claims (for example, his “download event,” or specific presidential private understandings). Distinctions between what’s on public record and what remains speculative are integral in evaluating his contributions.
Cameron matters because he focuses on the often-overlooked chain linking the executive branch with UFO/UAP issues. For those seeking disclosure—not just of phenomena, but of institutional behavior—Cameron’s work offers a catalogue of presidential archive materials, FOIA successes and public claims that challenge the idea that government interest was strictly reactive or peripheral.
He remains active: continuing to lecture, collecting and publishing archival materials, exploring consciousness-oriented dimensions of the UAP phenomenon, and pressing for greater transparency from presidential administrations.
The United Experiencers Initiative (UEI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals who have experienced contact with non-human intelligence, UAP phenomena, and expanded states of consciousness. We are hosting our Full Public Launch on July 11th, 2026 co-hosted by Grant Cameron. Experiencers have been at the center of the UAP phenomenon since the beginning but are often left out of the mainstream disclosure conversation. UEI exists to change that — to give experiencers a voi...

This (video on the left side) is almost exactly the same what Chris Bledsoe witnessed in his encounter on the Cape Fear River ("Fayetteville Incident" Jan 8, 2007). He mentioned this in several of his earlier interviews; his son Ryan confirmed it when talking to Grant Cameron (time stamp: 25:50-27:54) (link) transcript: Number of years ago your father showed me a video, this was filmed in Florida and it doesn't come when you expand it. If you go on Youtube you can see it much clearer. Um but...

"[The Trump administration] don't give single fucks...about the UAP/UFO topic." ~GL Great stuff from Grant... Grant: Yesterday was a slap in the face to any experiencer, "who has suffered real trauma and emotional distress. I don't have a whole lot of confidence that the Trump administration has any interest in disclosing anything above and beyond historical files and ambiguous footage of objects in the U.S. airspace and around the globe. "[The Trump administration] don't give single fucks, i...
In April of 2026 a new documentary about Bob Lazar was released. It describes his short-lived employment at a high security US military facility called S4 located adjacent to the famous Area 51 in Nevada. What most people interested in UFOs fail to understand is how Bob Lazar's brief employment at S4 has eventually become part of what researcher Grant Cameron has aptly called the US Executive Branch's "gradual acclimatization program." Lazar was only at the base six times. He was immediately...

Popped into a space a few days ago and heard UFO researcher Grant Cameron talk about a case that involved a Grey ET temporarily living at the home of a member of the military after a crash retrieval had occurred. Wild… yes. But I’ve heard stranger tales. https://t.co/SDlRgIs5oY

I’ve spent 20 years as a hardcore skeptic. Debunked everything. Then I fell into Grant Cameron’s rabbit hole about consciousness and UAP. The “Wow Theory” isn’t about aliens in metal ships. It’s about reality being a conscious interface. Once I allowed the idea that attention itself might attract phenomena, my whole framework collapsed. Anyone else feel like the phenomenon is less about "them" and more about us waking up? Not asking for believers—just asking if you’ve felt reality get… wobbly...
Boarding a UFO is the wish dream of many UFO enthusiasts Grant Cameron has investigated the role of pop music in raising consciousness about UFOs, thus preparing people for higher levels of what is thought to be extraterrestrial contact. Here is an obvious candidate to be placed near the top on the flying saucer hit parade. Listen to the song “Mr. Spaceman” by the Byrds If one is interested in possibly co-creating with UFO intelligences HICE, (Human...

UFO researcher Grant Cameron: “If you want to understand what is the Phenomenon, you don’t go and research UFOs. Instead, you talk to people talking to the intelligence itself.” Those intelligences… how trustworthy are they? Liar, liar pants on fire. Quote source: Area 52 https://t.co/EjhDktrJFk
