Podesta has spent decades moving among White House service, campaign leadership, think tanks, teaching, and climate policy. He served as Bill Clinton’s chief of staff, founded the Center for American Progress, led Barack Obama’s transition, chaired Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and later returned to government on clean-energy implementation.
