A brief guide to focus artifacts/bokeh when filming lights in the sky.

I've come across a lot of posted footage of "Orbs" and recently "Batteries" in the sky, and I have to point out that these are not Orb or Battery shaped objects. Many of you probably know this already, but I feel like I have to make a post demonstrating what's happening. I haven't seen any other posts covering this, so here's my attempt.
