This 2007 F-15 audio is a good reminder why @SafeAerospace and other pilot groups push for better UAP reporting. Even experienced military pilots can encounter objects that don’t match anything familiar. Safety in the skies matters, identified or not. I just looked deeper into the case, it was officially concluded to be a weather balloon.
