Why is there so much variation on what the greys look like?

Just off the top of my head, there are the classic greys, the taller greys like in the Ariel School incident, the Whitley Streiber book kind with more human-like eyes, just to name a few. IMO this gives more credence to Jacques Vallee’s theories.
