13/ We also don't know what happened to the rejected submissions. Were they retained for pattern analysis? Were reports involving current military sightings redirected through operational channels? Were potential crimes referred to inspectors general or law enforcement bodies? Could someone challenge an incorrect determination or provide additional evidence? 'Out of scope' tells us how AARO classified them. But it doesn't tell us whether their information went anywhere else.
