Part 10 of a series reassessing the documentary record behind the 1933 Magenta narrative. TL;DR Before Project Sign, Hynek was Supervisor of Technical Reports at Johns Hopkins’ Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), 1942–1946, working inside the secret proximity-fuze program.
