If by thinking we change reality. Should we start thinking about the things we want to see?

I'm currently thinking about this ship that is coming in 2027. By doing so, I’m enhancing the probability of that event. I have a feeling we are the cause of the changes in the reality. And perhaps aliens too are real because we imagined them. Something tells me our brain is a reality generator. If that is the case, I’m going to think about Star Trek and Federation and all these different kinds of aliens so we don't get only the weird stuff like jellyfish or some boring gray who barely speaks...
