The U.S. military and intelligence community compartmentalizes information about UAPs across highly restricted programs because of “national security.” This prevents the same people responsible for national security, including analysts, scientists, commanders, and policymakers, from seeing the full body of evidence, accessing relevant information, and developing a coordinated response to the same issue the secrecy is supposed to address.
