Probed Analysis

Roswell is a city in southeastern New Mexico and the seat of Chaves County. During the Second World War and early Cold War, nearby Roswell Army Air Field hosted the 509th Bomb Group, the unit then responsible for the United States' atomic strike capability. That military presence—not the location of the debris field itself—made the city the administrative and media center of the episode that adopted its name.

In July 1947, rancher W. W. Brazel found scattered material northwest of Roswell, closer to Corona than to the city. Personnel from the airfield recovered it, and the base public-information office announced that the Army had obtained a “flying disc.” The statement was quickly withdrawn and the material was described as a weather balloon. Decades later, the Air Force said the debris came from Project Mogul, a classified balloon effort intended to detect Soviet nuclear tests.

The 1947 Roswell UFO Event grew far beyond that initial sequence. Beginning in the late 1970s, renewed witness interviews introduced claims of unusual debris, bodies, and a government cover-up. Air Force reviews in the 1990s found no evidence of extraterrestrial wreckage and argued that later body accounts likely combined memories of test-dummy recoveries and unrelated accidents. Witnesses and researchers who reject that explanation continue to dispute its fit with the testimony.

Roswell subsequently built a civic identity around the case through museums, festivals, shops, lectures, and continuing archival debate. The city is not the alleged crash site, but it is where the Army's contradictory public statements entered the historical record and where the story has been sustained. Its importance is therefore both geographic and cultural: Roswell turned a remote debris recovery into the enduring template for modern crash-retrieval narratives.

Classified 1947 Roswell Alien Interview

Richard Doty: “I was shown actual film of the Roswell & Kingman crash sites with Alien bodies.” 👽😱 Former Air Force OSI Special Agent Richard Doty describes to Chris Ramsey how a 1980s classified briefing in which he viewed 16mm film of the recovery operations at the Corona, New Mexico site linked to the 1947 Roswell incident and the Kingman, Arizona crash. The footage, according to Doty, showed the crash sites, the craft, and the recovered bodies of non human entities. This remains one of...

A reminder of what Roswell researcher, Donald Schmitt, said about Stone. "The late Clifford Stone was a shy, sweet, yet outspoken friend going back to our first meeting in Roswell in February, 1989. What most aren't aware is that Cliff was one of the first on the scene at a fatal motorcycle accident about 30 years ago. He personally witnessed the death of his only son. It was a heartbreaking event which altered his life forever... including his own perspective on reality itself... including,...

One hypothesis - The Americans created the ufo flap and Roswell leak as an Intentional propaganda tool. Low flights in WW2 resulted in plasma phenomenon being witnessed. The Americans wanted a secret cutting-edge tech directly after Hiroshima, their own mythical Woner weapon. They funded studies and groups like APRO and Bluebook from airforce-controlled staff. They funded movies, publicly when the U.S. look strong and enemy’s look weak (well-documented), but used CIA fronted investors to perp...

Sharing a recent presentation that may be of interest here. It opens with UAP reports out of China—including military interception attempts and the 1997 crash often called China’s “Roswell”—then moves into a full contact narrative that tries to explain both the technology and the persistent lack of open presence. Case-oriented sections: Reported military intercepts of UFOs/UAPs in China The 1997 Chinese crash / retrieval account How these sit alongside better-known Western military encounters...

Don Schmitt Q&A in Roswell with @HighEarthOrbit_ https://t.co/8tDbvPGznR [Quoted] https://t.co/zP83GlKvr8

I recently gave a presentation that spends significant time on UAP activity reported in China, including military interception attempts and the 1997 crash often referred to as China’s “Roswell.” I wanted to share it here because those sections are directly relevant to the kinds of cases this sub discusses—military encounters, possible retrievals, and how the phenomenon appears outside the usual U.S./Western reporting. What’s in the talk (UFO/UAP-focused portions first): Reported military inte...

Hey @DrPhil: we’ve retrieved non-human craft containing non-human occupants on multiple occasions. Roswell was just one start. And about those occupants… some were deceased, some were not. https://t.co/02gKkUT26O
