Our place is at the far edge of a tiny valley, and we saw it floating and drifting above the closest ridge: about a mile away and 600 ft tall. Seeing as the encounter was about 6 and a half minutes, and the whole valley is barely 2 miles wide, I reckon whatever it is had to be moving somewhere in the 15-2...
