Chrissy Newton is a writer, podcaster and public relations professional who covers UAP, science and culture for The Debrief, where she is listed as media director as well as a writer and podcast host. She also hosts her own podcast, Rebelliously Curious, and co-hosted a Discovery series on alien encounters. In 2026 she commented on the government's UAP record releases for outlets including GB News.

Newton founded and runs VOCAB Communications, a public relations firm, and has worked for years as a podcaster and video journalist. Her Debrief bylines range widely: alongside UAP policy she writes about consciousness research, artificial intelligence, brain-computer interfaces, Mars exploration and Canadian energy and fusion projects. Rebelliously Curious covers UFOs, new scientific theories, space exploration and artificial intelligence through interviews with researchers and other guests.

On television she co-hosted Alien Encounters: Fact or Fiction with author Mitch Horowitz. The Discovery series premiered on June 19, 2024, and had the pair weigh reported encounters against scientific data and research to decide whether they had natural explanations.

Her 2026 work tracked the federal disclosure process. In May she told GB News that she was "not holding my breath yet," predicting that many of the newly released UFO files would be redacted, and in September she reported on a new Pentagon pathway for government insiders to disclose UAP information. Her interviews that year included former AARO science adviser Randy Bostick in July, after which skeptic Mick West disputed her statement that AARO had never explained the "Syrian UAP – Instant Acceleration" video, and retired Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet in October, on defense reform and whether special operations units might be involved in crash retrievals.

Newton has also appeared at UAP events in Toronto. She co-hosted the June 2026 Toronto stop of Chris Ramsay's "It's Probably Nothing" tour at the Danforth Music Hall and sat on a panel about national security constraints on transparency at the 2026 conference of the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies, held in the city that July. Her career joins publicity, broadcast hosting and science journalism, and in 2026 her interviews for The Debrief and her podcast turned repeatedly to former defense officials and UAP secrecy.
