Dan Cleary is a Los Angeles-based podcaster and longtime music-industry technician who hosts Others From Another Mother, a podcast about unidentified anomalous phenomena, and co-hosts the Doomer Friday livestream. He describes himself as a UFO disclosure advocate. His place in the UAP record is as an interviewer and commentator inside the community of independent shows that covered the 2026 disclosure debate.

Cleary grew up playing bass and moved to Los Angeles to play in bands before working as a guitar and bass technician, most prominently for Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction. A 2024 profile by the equipment maker Boss described his work for Navarro and bassist Eric Avery and noted that he co-hosted Navarro's Dark Matter Radio for most of a decade. In 2009, while working on a Jane's Addiction and Nine Inch Nails tour, he joined Nine Inch Nails onstage for one song, a clip that Jeremy Corbell circulated in March 2026 with the joke that Cleary was a rockstar. He also presents the comedy podcast Rare Form Radio.

Others From Another Mother launched in November 2024 with co-host Chad Shlosser, both describing two decades of work in the music business. The show has covered the November 2024 and September 2025 House UAP hearings, which Cleary attended, and several editions of Contact in the Desert. In March 2026 he published an episode on the origin of the so-called Navarro Prophecy, a date-based meme that he said began as a joke in Las Vegas in August 2024 when he put a label on Navarro's guitar. In May 2026 he recorded the first interview with Corbell and director Michael Lazovsky about their film Sleeping Dog, and he guest-hosted news episodes of That UFO Podcast.

At Contact in the Desert in May 2026, Cleary warmed up the crowd for a live recording of Corbell's Weaponized podcast, introducing himself as a "UFO addict," and ran a Doomer Friday room with Clint Weldon, Xander Jones and Pavel Ibarra Meda. In October the Doomer Friday hosts staged a seven-and-a-half-hour livestream fundraiser for The Vanguard Enterprise, a whistleblower nonprofit, with guests including Corbell, George Knapp and James Fox. His own commentary tends toward advocacy, such as sharing a March 2026 claim by Matthew Brown that an intelligence operation was being run against Congress.

Cleary's significance in the UAP record is as a connector between the music world and the podcast circuit that grew around the disclosure movement, offering access interviews and event coverage rather than original investigation.
