Kurt Metzger is an American stand-up comedian, television writer and podcaster, best known for his work on Comedy Central's Inside Amy Schumer. He has no documented role in UFO research. His presence in UAP-adjacent media comes from guest spots, most visibly a run of 2026 appearances on the Danny Jones Podcast, where his subjects were mostly conspiracy theories rather than UFOs.

Born in 1977, Metzger grew up in Toms River, New Jersey, as a Jehovah's Witness; he has said he became an ordained minister at 17 and left the faith at about 21. He started stand-up at The Stress Factory in New Brunswick, worked the Philadelphia circuit and then New York clubs. His television credits include Live at Gotham, a 2009 Comedy Central Presents half-hour, the one-hour special White Precious, the voice of Randall on Ugly Americans and a regular role in the 2016 series Horace and Pete. Comedy Central Records released his debut album, Kurt Metzger Talks to Young People About Sex, in 2011.

From 2013 to 2016 he wrote for Inside Amy Schumer. The Television Academy credits him with four Emmy nominations for the show: Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 2014, 2015 and 2016, and Outstanding Variety Sketch Series in 2016 as a producer. In August 2016 he drew wide criticism for social media posts mocking women who had accused an Upright Citizens Brigade performer of sexual assault. Schumer publicly distanced herself, then clarified that he was not working for her because the show was on hiatus, and Metzger later apologized for how inflamed he had become. In 2018 he was among the writers of Sacha Baron Cohen's Showtime satire Who Is America?

Podcasting became a central part of his career. He co-hosted Race Wars with Sherrod Small from 2013 to 2018, launched Can't Get Right on the GaS Digital network in 2019 and co-wrote and performed on The Kyle Dunnigan Show from 2021. He has been a repeat guest on The Joe Rogan Experience and appears in commentary segments alongside Jimmy Dore.

In 2026 he joined Danny Jones for episode 381 in March and episode 404 in June, and weighed in on a July episode with Matthew Cox. Jones promoted the conversations with clips in which Metzger argued that the Epstein files show Jeffrey Epstein is still alive, claimed that Satanic ritual abuse is widespread in Hollywood, described modern branding as sigil magic and discussed CIA directed-energy weapons. Those episodes made him a recurring voice on a show that also hosts UFO witnesses and researchers, while his public record rests on two decades of stand-up and television comedy writing.
