I went digging on the Scott Sylte UAP photos case, and the paper trail is much thinner than I expected. The images most people know from UFOs: It Has Begun trace back to the 1974 documentary UFOs: Past, Present, and Future, which was later reissued under the It Has Begun title. The most substantive historical lead I found is an indexed snippet from the Flying Saucer Review special issue UFOs 1968, Seattle.
