not ufos Planes, satellites, spacex, shooting stars. ( the basic ) I out into a field where no light pollution ( makes it easier to see) I Lay down look up. Sit there just staring and looking ( im gonna be here for awhile. My eyes need to adjust to space to focus. ) Now planes always have blinking lights.
