Are encounters less likely in urban areas as opposed to countryside?

I've been into this subject for a few years at this point and have always wondered if I, me, specifically, was due for an encounter at some point. After all, I am open-minded, spiritually inclined, have investigated the topic for a long time, and even tried CE5 briefly.
