Mike Turner Avoids Questions on Pentagon's UFO Files in Video with Ask a Pol UAP

Matt Laslo’s Ask a Pol report includes a recording and transcript of an exchange with Rep. Mike Turner about the Pentagon’s UFO files. Turner responds, “You know we’re not doing this.” The article was published on October 9, 2026; the publisher labels the interview September 16, 2026. Because other contextual dating in the article is not fully reconciled, September 16 is retained as the publisher’s stated date, not independently established chronology. This is a named reporter’s primary account, amplified by social posts. The reactions are not independent corroboration, and Turner’s refusal to engage does not establish what he knows about the files.
