Mark Warner Claims Chinese Drones Shut Down Langley Air Force Base for 17 Days in 2023

The available information primarily centers around claims made by Senator Mark Warner regarding an alleged incident in 2023 where Chinese drones reportedly caused the shutdown of Langley Air Force Base for 17 days. This claim was made during an interview with the outlet Ask a Pol UAP. Warner suggests that the incursions initially thought to be UAPs were in fact mostly Chinese drones, although he admits to not having seen photographic evidence of such drones. The claim has been circulated and discussed extensively on social media and by individuals such as Christopher Sharp, who highlights the alleged inability of U.S. systems to detect or disrupt these drones.
