It's the circle of conspiracy. Old hoaxes crop up again, and the fact that they have been comprehensively debunked is viewed as evidence that they are true. This particular canard is being hawked by Ross Coulthart as if it's something significant. My posting about it will probably be used as evidence that it's real.
