Hand Scanner - Bob Lazar

Can we as a group do our best to stop using the hand scanner as evidence of proof for Bob Lazars story? This was clearly shown in the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Bob would have been 11 when this movie came out. He himself has stated he’s a science fiction fan. That movie was a block buster hit. It’d be like him not seeing Star Wars.
