Elon Musk on the Fermi Paradox: “The tiny candle of consciousness that constitutes humanity is all that there is in this vast darkness.” He asks “Where are the aliens?” and admits “I have seen no evidence whatsoever of aliens.” Musk says this may be the most likely answer. We should assume we’re it until proven otherwise. If humanity really is the only light in the cosmos, does that change everything for us? Are we prepared to carry that responsibility?
