The Integratron is a two-story wooden dome in the Mojave Desert at Landers, California, north of Joshua Tree, built by the contactee George Van Tassel. About 38 feet high and 55 feet across, it was framed mainly in wood and fiberglass without nails or screws. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. Sisters Joanne, Nancy and Patty Karl, who bought it in 2000, have restored it and use it for sound-bath sessions and private events.

Van Tassel, a former aircraft mechanic and flight inspector for Douglas, Hughes and Lockheed, moved in 1947 to nearby Giant Rock, where he ran an airstrip and café. From 1953 he held meditations beneath the rock, founded the Ministry of Universal Wisdom and hosted annual spacecraft conventions that drew about 10,000 people at their 1959 peak; George Adamski attended in 1955. Donations and convention proceeds paid for the dome. Sources date the start of work to 1954 or 1957, and the main structure stood by about 1959. Van Tassel passed away in February 1978, weeks before a planned opening, and the machine was never finished.

Van Tassel said that in August 1953 beings from Venus visited him and gave him a method for rejuvenating human cells, and he credited a being he called Solganda with the idea of bathing people in electromagnetic energy. He described the building as a high-voltage electrostatic generator drawing on Nikola Tesla, on Georges Lakhovsky's Multiple Wave Oscillator and on the biblical Tabernacle, and claimed it would allow rejuvenation, antigravity and time travel. He also said it stands on a strong geomagnetic anomaly, a claim the current owners repeat.

On September 1, 2026, the Huntington Library in San Marino announced that it had bought an archive documenting Van Tassel and the Integratron, which LAist called the library's first ufology collection. Assembled over decades by Morongo Valley contractor Don McKinney, it includes architectural drawings, a scale model of the dome, photographs and about 120 reel-to-reel tapes of Van Tassel's channeling sessions, mostly from the 1950s to the 1970s. With the Giant Rock buildings long since bulldozed, the dome is the main surviving structure of Van Tassel's desert ministry, and its papers now document Southern California's postwar UFO community in a major research library.
