On August 1st 2019, a U.S. Navy E-2C Hawkeye pilot had a near-collision at 7,000 feet over the Chesapeake Bay with a radar-invisible, bumpy half-sphere object with a protruding rod and box, and days later a separate crew encountered a nearly identical undetectable object in the same Langley AFB airspace. https://t.co/Nk5ZhTmum6

In August 2019, a U.S. Navy E-2C Hawkeye pilot climbing out of Norfolk toward Langley AFB had to take immediate evasive action to avoid a collision with an unidentified object at 7,000 feet. ATC had no radar return. Neither did the Hawkeye's own onboard radar.
