12/ The USS Jackson case already had several things AARO usually says that it needs like a named military witness, a report made during the encounter, visual observation and information collected by more than one sensor. The office has never released a public assessment of the case. We still don't have the complete Sapphire recording, the radar tracks or a technical account of what the ship detected as the objects left. AARO apparently wanted more from Wiggins, but hasn't said what that was.

10/ AARO could need a SCIF to discuss the full recording, radar settings, the ship's position and the capabilities of the Sapphire system. Military witnesses can describe an encounter in public while some of the information collected during it stays classified. Wiggins says he was asked to tell the same story he had already given to Congress. When he said no, the office allegedly tried to reach him through his command. According to Wiggins, AARO never explained what extra information it neede...

5/ One of the operators watching the Sapphire display thought the objects might be aircraft. A commercial plane entered the area soon afterwards and appeared on the same system. Its wings, tail, nose and exhaust were all clearly visible. None of those features could be seen on the 4 objects. Wiggins called the comparison "checkmate". The crew had watched a known aircraft and the unknown contacts through the same military sensor, and they didn't look anything alike.
