Andy McGrillen, sometimes credited as Andrew McGrillen, is a British podcaster and author who created and hosts That UFO Podcast, an interview and news program about UFOs and unidentified anomalous phenomena. He is also the author of Atlas of Unidentified Flying Objects and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, published by Ivy Press in 2025. Through the show and frequent guest spots on other programs, he covered the 2026 disclosure debate as both interviewer and commentator.

McGrillen has said his interest in UFOs began when he was ten, when he and a small group witnessed what he describes as a remarkable sighting in Scotland. According to his publisher's biography, he started the podcast during lockdown in May 2020, and it soon won regular top-ten places in science podcast charts around the world. The same biography says it was named in the listeners' choice top 20 at the British Podcast Awards in the summer of 2022. That year Herb Lester Associates also published his Skies Above: A Guide to UFO Sightings in the UK.

The podcast pairs long-form interviews with news discussions and a companion show, Off The Record. Its 2026 guests included Jeremy Corbell, whom McGrillen questioned about his role in the government's UFO file releases on the day of the third release in June; the researcher Richard Dolan; and the attorney Danny Sheehan, who claimed in an August interview that Christopher Mellon, David Grusch and Lue Elizondo had an earlier, previously unknown link dating to 2017 and 2018. In October, the former UAP Task Force member Lenval Logan told him that the footage released publicly so far was not the best the task force had seen. When McGrillen appeared on The Good Trouble Show in April 2026, its host credited him with more than 1,000 episodes.

The atlas, published in September 2025 in Ivy Press's Unexpected Atlases series, arranges more than 30 cases into five chapters on crash retrievals, abductions, military, civilian and close encounters, illustrated with specially commissioned maps. Its cases run from Roswell, Kecksburg and the Rendlesham Forest incident to Varginha in Brazil, Ruwa in Zimbabwe, Kofu in Japan and Dechmont Woods in Scotland, and Ivy Press presents it as an investigation of lesser-known cases alongside famous ones. McGrillen promoted it in 2026 on other shows, telling Matt Ford that his warning sign for a grifter is someone who cannot say "I don't know."

McGrillen was also a regular commentator in 2026 on the Doomer Friday livestream and on Psicoactivo Live, discussing the UFO file releases, a rumored presidential executive order and Ross Coulthart's remarks about Lue Elizondo. In July he appeared on GB News to discuss what the channel described as an Earth-like atmosphere detected around the exoplanet LHS 1140 b. Since 2020 he has built a long-running interview archive of disclosure-era guests and turned that access into a reference book that sets American cases beside sightings in Britain, Africa, Asia and South America.
