Jesse Watters (born July 9, 1978, in Philadelphia) is an American conservative television host at Fox News, where he anchors the weeknight opinion program Jesse Watters Primetime and co-hosts the ensemble panel show The Five. He has spent his entire career at the network. In 2026 his prime-time hour became one of the most frequent mainstream venues for coverage of federal UFO file releases and interviews with figures from the disclosure movement.
After graduating from Trinity College in Hartford with a history degree in 2001, Watters worked as a production assistant at Fox News in New York. He joined the production staff of The O'Reilly Factor in 2003 and began appearing on air in its segments in 2004. His own program, Watters' World, debuted in November 2015 and ran until January 2022. He became a co-host of The Five in April 2017, launched Jesse Watters Primetime in the 7 p.m. slot on January 24, 2022, and took over the 8 p.m. hour in 2023. He is the author of How I Saved the World (2021) and Get It Together (2024).
Watters' 2026 UFO coverage began with the missing-scientists story. On March 24 his program hosted former FBI assistant director Chris Swecker to discuss the disappearance of retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Neil McCasland, whom Watters' promotion called the UFO "gatekeeper," along with other scientists reported missing or dead. When the administration released its first batch of UFO files in May, Watters reacted on The Five with "Give me the little green men!" On May 18 he aired a segment describing four reported alien types, Greys, Nordics, Insectoids and Reptilians, which he attributed to a scientist's classification, while acknowledging on air, "We haven't seen the evidence."
His program also became a regular stop for disclosure figures. On May 26 he interviewed former Pentagon official Lue Elizondo, promoting the segment with the claim that a former Pentagon UFO investigator said the United States possesses "non-human" material. He hosted The Age of Disclosure director Dan Farah several times between May and August, and in September highlighted newly released files describing six objects flying in formation over the Middle East. On October 5 he asked Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb where alleged recovered bodies and craft might be hidden; Loeb said it was his "great privilege" to work with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Pentagon on finding such material.
Watters presents the subject in the tabloid style of his program, with "HOLY SMOKES" promotions and alien-species rundowns alongside excerpts from official records. Disclosure advocates welcomed the attention; filmmaker James Fox thanked him in September for giving whistleblowers a voice to the President. His 2026 coverage made a prime-time Fox hour one of the most consistent national platforms for UFO file releases and insiders' claims.
