Sarah Gamm is an American image scientist from the U.S. intelligence community who has said she supported the Defense Department's UAP Task Force. In UAP media she is known for two different strands of work: a forensic and often deflationary reading of official footage, and her own accounts of near-death, psychic and contact experiences. In 2026 she became a regular interpreter of the Department of War's PURSUE video releases, while her claims have drawn sharp criticism from prominent disclosure journalists.

By her own account and her show biographies, Gamm holds a bachelor's degree in astrophysics and spent most of her career on imagery analysis for defense and intelligence agencies. Filmmaker Steven Greenstreet reported in 2024 that she worked for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence from 2013 to 2022 and later as a nuclear campaign analyst for the contractor SAIC. Her account of her government roles comes chiefly from her own interviews. She has also described herself as a practicing psychic medium and has said that a near-death experience during routine surgery in 2012 changed her life.

She gained a wider audience through long interviews, including one with NewsNation's Ross Coulthart, which presented her as a former task force insider. In a 2024 interview she said she had seen the "Jellyfish" video, that it was not a UAP and that the analysis explaining it was classified. On Weaponized, George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell disputed that account, saying the task force never had the video, and Corbell said she had "straight up lied." Researcher Joe Murgia noted that in the interviews he had watched she did not claim to have been on the analysis team.

In May 2026 Popular Mechanics published a feature on her near-death experience, and on May 17 she joined Matt Ford on The Good Trouble Show to review the 28 files the administration had released through PURSUE on May 8. By one listener's account of the broadcast, she judged most of the footage to show balloons or other ordinary objects, found the more interesting clips inconclusive, and said the files were not the videos she had seen while working with the task force. In June she said in another interview that she had met nonhuman intelligence in public and that there is a place where such beings are known to be present, a claim that revived the earlier criticism.

Gamm's mix of technical skepticism about released footage and personal claims of nonhuman contact has made her one of the more divisive figures among former government analysts who speak publicly about UAP. Her reviews of the 2026 releases have been widely shared as an imagery specialist's appraisal of the official material.
