Sekret Machines is Tom DeLonge's book series of thriller novels and a nonfiction trilogy, begun in 2016 with AJ Hartley and Peter Levenda, which DeLonge says drew on senior defense officials.
Sekret Machines is a book franchise created by the Blink-182 co-founder Tom DeLonge and published by his company, To The Stars. It runs in two strands. The thriller novels, co-written with the novelist A. J. Hartley, are Book 1: Chasing Shadows (April 2016) and Book 2: A Fire Within (2018). The nonfiction trilogy Gods, Man & War, co-written with the occult historian Peter Levenda, consists of Gods (2017), co-published with Simon & Schuster and carrying a foreword by Jacques Vallée, Man (2019) and War (2024).
Chasing Shadows follows a skeptical UFO journalist, a Second World War prisoner of war, an heiress and a pilot on an Area 51 project whose stories converge. DeLonge said he spent more than a year meeting officials, gathered eight advisers and wove into the novel "true information from a secret historical record." Gods, presented as drawing on interviews with scientists, intelligence officers and military officials, searches religious texts worldwide for traces of an event that changed humanity; Levenda described it as "a new approach to religion." Clinton campaign emails released by WikiLeaks in 2016 showed DeLonge seeking John Podesta's help with the project, including a January 2016 message headed "General McCasland," a reference to the retired Air Force Major General Neil McCasland, a former commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory.
Nicholas Pell of LA Weekly called the first novel "hefty but a page-turner," and Greg M. Schwartz of PopMatters said Gods read like "a more academic dive into Ancient Aliens territory," arguing that the motives of DeLonge's advisers deserved as much scrutiny as those of any visitors. No released official record confirms what DeLonge says his advisers told him. DeLonge went on to launch To The Stars Academy with former officials in 2017; its first major television project was History's Unidentified.
The books drew fresh attention after McCasland went missing in February 2026. In March the former Defense Department official Marik von Rennenkampff wrote that DeLonge has said top officials informed what the books say about UAP retrieval and reverse engineering, and Reddit posts repeated a claim that McCasland agreed to advise DeLonge after reading the prologue to the first book. In October, readers debated which real organization inspired the novels' fictional corporation Maynard, with the researcher Jason Samosa proposing the postwar World Commerce Corporation. A decade after Chasing Shadows, the series remains the first published product of the effort DeLonge pitched to Podesta in 2016 and later built into To The Stars Academy.
Jason Samosa has been doing incredible work digging into the heart of the UFO Legacy Program for a bit now, and his recent video regarding the World Commerce Corporation, founded in August 1945 as we were dropping atomic bombs on Japan, really hit a chord. Two months ago, after his first video dropped about the WCC and its connections to the Maynard Consortium that Tom DeLonge and Philip Levenda have outlined in their Sekret Machines series, my research partner Michael Armentor and I took par...
Here it is! https://t.co/NTp2fV1ZHG https://t.co/9tVEQN5oj1 [Quoted] Recommended: Pavel (@pavelibarrameda) sat down with the great Peter Levenda (@Peter_Levenda) on Psicoactivo for a 2h24m tour de force, and it's a proper rabbit hole. They cover: ▸ Gen. McCasland and the Sekret Machines books. ▸ Old gods, Sumer, and whether first contact sparked religion. ▸ Puharich, MK Ultra and the Nazi scientists brought to Texas. ▸ Why 1977 was such a strange year. ▸ Podesta and the UFO files locked in se...
Where the nonfiction trilogy's big ideas came from, and where its models contradict each other Readers often treat Sekret Machines as one coherent account. The problem is the word the. The books do not reveal the machine, the alien group, the purpose, or the war. Ancient visitors, genetic seeding, consciousness, androids, ritual, and rival factions coexist without fully agreeing. Their unification is interpretive. What is the intellectual source code of Sekret Machines itself? This follows Th...
Page 292 in Sekret Machines talks about how an old woman saved a blue metal from a ufo crash. Which also shows up on TMBSPACESHIPS specifically how to make Copper Sulfate crystals.

I am done the first two non-fiction books of that trilogy, soon to start War, the third one. I have almost finished the 2nd book in the fiction series. There are a lot of theories associated with this approach. There is too much to summarize here. Who has read them, and what did you think? I am interested to hear what aspects stood out to people and what you think could potentially be true.
I remembered Maj Gen McCasland, who Delonge referred to as "the General" saying the reason he started advising TTUSA was because of the intro to Sekret Machines which connected this topic to shamanism/mysticism & ceremonial magic... The Kitāb al-Nawāmīs (Latin translation: Liber Vaccae, ‘The Book of the Cow & Bees )describes alchemical experiments involving the mutilation of a cow’s reproductive organs to create small artificial humanoid beings (homunculi), as well as hybrid creatures of va...

A few months back whistleblowers revealed the existence of a 'legacy program named Immaculate Constellation that dealt with UAP, retrievals & Reproduction vehicles. This is a quote attributed to Maj Gen McCasland, who was once head of ALL SAPs & Wright Patt AFRL, "The appearance of the saucer is a manifestation of someone in a parallel universe using ceremonial magic to enter our world.” McCasland said that he chose to be an advisor for TTUSA because of the Prologue to Sekret Machines which a...
“Sekret Machines scratches at the surface of ‘who do we trust with our classified technology-certainly our adversaries are aware of our undertakings, as they are doing the same. But what of our citizens, our politicians, even our own military?’ Tom DeLonge and A.J. Hartley create a convincing narrative describing the cat-and-mouse game that is timeless between strategic adversaries. It has existed under the sea, on the surface of the earth, and in its skies; why wouldn’t we believe it occurs...

I just finished the two AJ Hartley Sekret Machines books and really enjoyed them, he is a great writer of thrillers, the end of each chapter really had my wanting to read on.
