To the Stars Academy of ARTS & Science
OrgTo the Stars Academy of ARTS & Science
OrgTo The Stars Academy of Arts & Science (now simply To The Stars*) operates at the intersection of government-related disclosure, anomalous phenomena research, and media production. Founded in 2017 by musician Tom DeLonge alongside intelligence veterans Jim Semivan and physicist Harold E. Puthoff, its stated purpose is to investigate Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), study allegedly “exotic” materials, and push for governmental transparency while funding these efforts through entertainment ventures. It gained wide attention through its involvement in the release of military sensor videos—known as “FLIR1,” “Gimbal,” and “GoFast”—that were later confirmed by the U.S.
Navy as authentic UAP footage.
The organization’s structure is a public-benefit corporation, featuring divisions in aerospace, science, and entertainment. Key figures have included Luis Elizondo, who reportedly led AATIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program), and Christopher Mellon, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence. Members such as Puthoff bring backgrounds in remote viewing and psychic research, making much of the work controversial among mainstream scientific and national security circles.
To The Stars has produced multiple media outputs—documentaries, books, television series (including Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation)—to reach broad audiences. It also offers a publicly accessible database of UAP sightings (“VAULT”) and claims to have provided anomalous materials to government or academic labs for analysis. These operations serve both research and advocacy roles, aimed at changing how UAP phenomena are viewed in public and policy domains.
Certain claims remain unverified: statements about possessing materials of non-terrestrial origin and breakthroughs in unconventional physics, for example, lack peer-reviewed publication. Associations with fringe research—remote viewing, telepathy, consciousness studies—have drawn criticism and skepticism. Questions linger about financial sustainability, given reported operating losses and dependency on high-profile founders’ personal branding for revenue.
What matters most now is whether To The Stars can sustain scientific rigor and demonstrable results—material analyses, credible data—rather than relying primarily on media exposure. Its future credibility hinges on verifiable breakthroughs or institutional acknowledgment beyond the disclosure-era spotlight.
Lue Elizondo says General McCasland’s disappearance is unlikely related to UFOs “There was a lot of discussion when I was at To The Stars Academy, that he was an advisor on, that he was talking to Podesta and some other individuals over email about Disclosure and UFOs and https://t.co/mtn1vv5I4D
To The Stars Academy: Unveiling Truths with Hal Puthoff!
Nice to see CNN finally cover McCasland but where did @Chris__Boyette get this from? "McCasland worked with To The Stars, Inc., a company co-founded by Blink-182 musician Tom DeLonge." AFAIK, he advised @tomdelonge, and helped him put his advisory team together, but he did NOT https://t.co/lzojp8wiLE [Quoted] From @CNN: McCasland held some of the most sensitive positions in the US military, according to the Air Force. An astronautical engineer with degrees from the US Air Force Academy, the M...

What happened to To The Stars Academy?
Right before / during covid, they were quickly becoming a huge player in the UFO community. So fast that is almost seemed like it was planted (& I’ve heard others such as Jesse Michels mention this too, that DeLonge had a lot of govt connections before starting it and happened to be in the right place at the right time as the govt needed someone to push certain agendas). But recently I was looking into the release of the Tic Tac, GIMBAL, and GOFAST videos (actually posted my video on my resea...
AATIP, Bigelow & To The Stars: UFOs Examined
As has been reported numerous times over recent years, Maj. Gen. Neil McCasland was one of the highly placed 'in the know' people involved in briefing Tom DeLonge on UAP/NHI many years ago, prior to him starting the 'To The Stars Academy'. It is now reported that McCasland has been "missing" since last Friday. https://www.abqjournal.com/news/retired-kirtland-commander-reported-missing-since-friday/2991867 How very convenient that right when the highly dubious AARO are given the job to fulfill...
