The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch is an American reality television series on the History Channel that follows a team investigating Skinwalker Ranch, a property of roughly 500 acres in Uintah County in northeastern Utah. Produced by Prometheus Entertainment, the company behind The Curse of Oak Island, with Letter 10 Productions, it premiered on March 31, 2020, and had aired seven seasons by August 2026. In Britain it is broadcast as The Curse of Skinwalker Ranch, and a spin-off, Beyond Skinwalker Ranch, ran for three seasons from 2023.

The cast is led by Brandon Fugal, the Utah real-estate executive who bought the ranch in 2016 and is an executive producer, with aerospace engineer Travis Taylor, principal investigator Erik Bard, security chief Bryant "Dragon" Arnold and ranch superintendent Tom Winterton. History presents the series as the first attempt to look underground at a site of reported UFO and paranormal activity, after decades of study, "some secretly funded by the U.S. government," a reference to research under its former owner, Robert Bigelow. Episodes follow drilling, ground-penetrating radar, drones, rockets and radio experiments, and the team reports GPS and equipment failures, unexplained signals, aerial lights and injuries that it associates with the property. Season 4, in 2023, opened with Taylor revealing that he had served as chief scientist of the government's UAP Task Force.

Critics have questioned both the format and the findings. Author Jason Colavito, who writes about fringe history, argued in a review of the premiere that the ranch's supposed mystery is "entirely a modern creation," assembled in the 1990s from the cattle-mutilation, UFO and poltergeist stories of the time, and likened the series to The Curse of Oak Island's open-ended search. Science writer Russell Moul wrote that the team had "yet to provide anything to back up their supposed experiences." The causes of the effects shown on screen remain contested.

Season 7 premiered on May 19, 2026, and ran for 14 episodes to August 18. Around the season Fugal described a decade of privately funded investigation to Jesse Michels's American Alchemy channel, and in August he joined Bigelow on the Bigelow Podcast, hosted by George Knapp, to discuss the ranch's future, weighing television-friendly provocation against careful research while Bigelow urged a turn toward consciousness studies. After six years, the series is the main window through which the public sees the ranch's investigation.
