Batya! is a weekly political talk and opinion program on NewsNation, the Nexstar-owned cable news network, hosted by the journalist and author Batya Ungar-Sargon. Built around the host's commentary on the week's news and her debates with politicians, commentators and people in the news, it covers national politics, foreign policy and cultural disputes. It is not a UAP program, and its contact with the subject has been limited to an occasional segment.

NewsNation announced the show in late August 2025 as a one-hour program that would review the week's top stories with analysis and panel discussion, airing Saturdays at 4 p.m. Eastern with a same-day encore at 11 p.m. Announcing it, NewsNation executive Michael Corn said that "Batya is a brilliant voice who understands the current sentiment of the country." The launch reshuffled the network's weekend schedule, moving other news blocks and extending NewsNation Prime by an hour. The first episode aired on September 20, 2025, with Megyn Kelly as a guest discussing the political landscape after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

In 2026 NewsNation extended the brand into digital programming with Prove It! with Batya, a live-streamed debate podcast that, according to a May 2026 trade report, streams Monday through Thursday as part of a new slate of network podcasts. In its format, Ungar-Sargon and guests from across the political spectrum argue a proposition while viewers contribute questions, data and personal experience and then vote on who made the stronger case. Prove It! is a companion to the weekly show rather than its successor: full episodes of Batya! continued through October 2026, and NewsNation's videos often present clips from both under the host's name.

In autumn 2026 the show's agenda followed the network's main political stories, among them the war with Iran and President Trump's foreign policy, the approaching midterm elections and the Michigan Senate race, an alleged sexual assault case involving a Cornell University fraternity, and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's message on the third anniversary of the October 7 attacks. Guests included Montana Republican Senator Tim Sheehy, Maryland Democratic Representative Glenn Ivey and Ashleigh Banfield. The show's one documented UFO segment came in June 2026, when an episode on conspiracy theories featured Michael Shermer, the founder of Skeptic magazine, discussing claims about UFOs alongside other modern theories.

Batya! is significant chiefly as an opinion platform for Ungar-Sargon, whose populist positions on class, the press and the two major parties set its tone. Within NewsNation, which from 2023 became the American cable network most associated with UAP reporting, it is part of the political side of the schedule and has treated UFOs as an occasional cultural topic, approached through a skeptic, rather than as part of the disclosure story the network covers on other programs.
