Probed Analysis

Unreported with Meagan Medick is a weekly video podcast produced by NewsNation, the Nexstar-owned cable news network. It is hosted by Meagan Medick, a network producer who also works on Reality Check, Ross Coulthart's UAP program, and full episodes are posted to NewsNation's YouTube channel and Spotify. Its subjects range from UFO sightings and disclosure politics to paranormal sites, ancient-history claims and true crime.

The first episode went online on May 13, 2026. Later that month NewsNation presented the show as part of a new slate of digital programs made in a new podcast studio at its Chicago headquarters, alongside shows hosted by Jesse Weber, Batya Ungar-Sargon and Paula Froelich. The Desk described Unreported as a weekly video podcast on unconventional topics such as artificial intelligence, paranormal investigations and Bigfoot, and noted that the slate followed the success of Reality Check, which the network says has passed 100 million YouTube views since March 2024. The show's own description says it is built on the idea that some of the most important stories never make the headlines and promises new episodes every Wednesday. Episode credits list Medick and Andy Gipson as executive producers.

The early episodes leaned on UAP. In the opener Medick talked with the commentator Kristian Harloff about country singer Kacey Musgraves's UFO sighting, the skeptic Mick West's analysis of her video and politicians' attitudes toward disclosure. After a clip showed Harloff saying he was "not a fan" of West, West replied publicly that Harloff could always talk to him. A week later the violin professor David Russell, who describes himself as a UFO experiencer, played videos of orbs he says he has filmed and said, "I don't think any of us know what we're dealing with." In August the YouTube host Kody Richardson of Mystery Archives traced the history of Skinwalker Ranch, from the Sherman family's accounts and Robert Bigelow's research institute to what the episode called the current owner's feud with critics over data he has not released.

By August the show's description had shifted toward viewer-submitted mysteries under the line "You send the mystery — we investigate," and the guest list moved further from UFOs. Isaac Weishaupt discussed occult symbolism in Hollywood; the former police detective Duncan McNab discussed an Australian murder trial he covered and his long friendship with Coulthart; and Cassie Coppersmith of the Secrets in Stone podcast discussed claims of a lost ancient civilization. In October Medick took a live update from Turkey with Andrew Jones and Lauren Witzke of Noah's Ark Scans, who said new radar results showed "organized structure" below a site promoted as Noah's Ark, and the researcher Timothy Alberino discussed ancient texts about giants.

Unreported carried NewsNation's UAP coverage beyond Reality Check into a weekly, host-led conversation format built around guests' own accounts. Its episodes let guests present their claims in their own words, and its mix of UFO stories with religion, true crime and ancient-history topics makes it a general mysteries program with UAP as one recurring strand.
