Meagan Medick is an American television news producer at NewsNation. She is the editorial producer of Reality Check, the UAP-focused program hosted by Ross Coulthart, and since May 2026 she has hosted her own weekly video podcast, Unreported with Meagan Medick. Her place in the UAP record comes from that work on and off camera during the 2026 disclosure debate.
NewsNation's staff biography, published under the byline Meagan Ourada, describes her as an Emmy Award-winning producer whose career has been in morning television and as executive producer of Morning in America, the network's three-hour live morning show. It says she has launched several shows, including overseeing the launch of NewsNation in 2020, and that she grew up in Las Vegas and earned a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Southern California. She has also described herself as a journalist with experience covering entertainment news.
By late 2025 she was working on Reality Check, where episode credits list her as editorial producer, and she increasingly appeared on screen beside Coulthart. On January 20, 2026, she reported from Washington during NewsNation's live coverage of James Fox's National Press Club press conference on the 1996 Varginha case. In a February bonus episode she debated with Coulthart whether President Trump's remarks about releasing UFO files reflected intelligence briefings or political rhetoric. She later co-presented viewer question episodes, broadcast with Coulthart from the network's Washington studio after a UAP disclosure forum on Capitol Hill in June, and joined him in July when he answered criticism of his comments about Lue Elizondo. In a February interview on the podcast Somewhere in the Skies, she discussed NewsNation's UAP coverage and recounted a UFO sighting of her own in Greece.
NewsNation introduced Unreported with Meagan Medick in May 2026 as part of a new slate of video podcasts produced from a new studio at its Chicago headquarters. The show's own description calls her a seasoned network executive producer bringing a behind-the-scenes perspective to the front of the camera, with stories ranging from government cover-ups to artificial intelligence and paranormal phenomena. Early episodes featured the commentator Kristian Harloff on country singer Kacey Musgraves's UFO sighting and skeptic Mick West's analysis of her video, the violin professor David Russell on videos of orbs he says he has filmed, Kristin Fisher, host of The Endless Void, on NASA's lunar base plans, and the author Kris Newby on her book about Lyme disease and biological weapons research. Later episodes took up claims of a lost ancient civilization and radar scans of a site promoted as Noah's Ark.
Medick's significance lies in her move from producing the network's main UAP program to presenting a show of her own. Through Reality Check and Unreported, she has helped carry NewsNation's coverage of the 2026 disclosure debate, along with wider unexplained-mystery stories, into a weekly format with her as the host.
