The Phoenix Lights wasn't flares it was a solid V with 5 orbs attached to it. Everyone talks about the 10pm flares over Phoenix on March 13, 1997. That was the SECOND event. The first event (8-9pm) is what thousands actually saw from Prescott to Tucson: A massive, silent, solid letter V moving low and slow over the desert. It blocked out the stars as it passed. No sound.
