Probed Analysis

PURSUE UFO Files Release 07 was the Department of War's seventh tranche of government UFO records under PURSUE, released on its WAR.GOV/UFO portal on Friday, October 23, 2026. Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell announced the "seventh release of declassified and historical" UAP files and said more would follow "on a rolling basis." Coming five weeks after Release 06, it was the smallest tranche so far and the first with no video, images or audio: 28 documents totaling about 1,140 pages. Twenty-five came from the Department of War and one each from the FBI, the Executive Office of the President and a U.S. Government collection. Like earlier tranches, they are presented as unresolved cases the government could not definitively identify.

Nearly 700 of those pages are records of the Defense Intelligence Agency's 2008–2012 Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program, produced by or for its contractor, Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies. They include papers the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) prepared for BAASS in 2008; a December 2008 outline of Project Capella, a proposed data warehouse for "unusual" aerial phenomena; and a project management plan that, according to the official description, proposed studying "craft" or events BAASS already believed showed novel behavior. Four 2009 monthly reports record BAASS buying UAP case information from MUFON, seeking to become the Federal Aviation Administration's official UAP reporting point, sending a team to Brazil and turning to a Utah ranch. A 2010 self-assessment, which the official description says appears meant to make the case for continuing the program, includes computer models of the 2004 Nimitz "Tic Tac" encounter.

News coverage singled out an April 2010 report on BAASS deployments to a Utah property that the New York Post and other outlets identified as Skinwalker Ranch. According to the official description, investigators interviewed residents, police, ranchers and tribal community members, took sensor readings and recorded accounts of "dog-like bipedal creatures," orbs of light and "little people," and BAASS intended to try to communicate with the presumed source. The Post reported that hair left on a fence after a reported skinwalker sighting was sent for DNA analysis.

The historical files run from 1949 to 1964. Four concern Catalina Island, California, starting with a 1949 letter to Kenneth Arnold. Ten Air Force reports from 1952 to 1957 cover a B-52 crew's five-to-seven-minute gunnery-scope contact over Saudi Arabia, an F-86D pilot's blinking light near Guam that a weather balloon could explain only if it had malfunctioned, and cases from Italy, Germany, French Morocco, Alaska, Sweden, Canada and Indiana. A 298-page personnel record covers Colonel Howard McCoy, who headed Air Materiel Command intelligence when Projects Sign and Grudge began. Two files trace an unsettled 1962–1964 interagency plan for recovering space debris; in a May 1963 memo, a National Aeronautics and Space Council staffer recorded NASA's Arnold Frutkin as "very negative" and as saying the Defense Department and Air Force wanted "to use NASA for a 'cover.'"

The newest records, an FBI interview form and an All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office memorandum, describe a matte-black triangle that federal agents reported at a national security site in the western United States in 2026; AARO said it warrants further investigation because it resembles other reported incidents in the region. The New York Post, NewsNation and the National News Desk led with that case; the Post computed a speed of about 1,800 mph from the FBI statement, a figure the records do not give. No agency offered an explanation for any case, and the tranche's lasting value is archival: BAASS's own plans, reports and field work, a run of early Cold War sighting reports, and a paper trail on how officials meant to handle fallen space hardware.

Release 07 dropped on war.gov/UFO today: 28 PDFs from the Dept. of War, FBI, the Executive Office of the President and "U.S. Government". I run a small site that tracks the PURSUE releases, and I went through every document. Here are the parts worth your time, interesting and mundane alike. 1. Two documents, probably one event - DOW-UAP-D176 (AARO Memorandum for Record, 2026): federal law enforcement agents at a sensitive site in the western US see a matte black triangular craft (~13–15 ft sp...

Note the language in the quote graphic... I wanna see the "oh shit" moment video, like now. Today's tranche 7 continues a series of dissapointing releases. And [Quoted] Where Are the UAP Task Force Records? Jay Stratton (@jaystratton), former Director of the Pentagon's Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF), led the very organization whose records remain the subject of serious transparency questions. Stratton, in his recently released book "Out of the Shadows," does discuss some of...

Tranche 7 is out: 28 documents, a 2026 black triangle sighting, previously unreleased BAASS material, and a discrepancy worth investigating

The Pentagon released its seventh tranche of UAP records today (October 23, 2026), and there are some genuinely interesting documents worth examining. Independent archivists have catalogued 28 new PDFs totaling approximately 1,139 pages. Here are several things that stood out: 1. A 2026 black triangle sighting involving federal agents (DOW-UAP-D176 and FBI-UAP-D043) Three federal agents reportedly observed a matte-black triangular object, approximately 13–15 feet wide, near a sensitive facili...

I found Strattons claims about the Roswell craft being split into two pieces as a new concept to me. Reading here in Tranche 7 there is a first person testimony that there was 2 site locations north of Roswell with one being deemed more important due to the bodies of 4ft tall large head NHI with a somewhat intact egg shapped craft. As much as I feel Stratton and Elizondo can be a bit suspiscious I am starting to understand that it takes folks that can toe the line to participate in a coordina...

🚨US FIGHTER PILOT CHASED AN UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT OVER GUAM One report in 'Tranche #7' from December 31, 1956, describes an encounter involving a US Air Force fighter pilot stationed on Guam. First Lieutenant Ted Brunson was flying an F-86D Sabre interceptor when he spotted a blinking white light that he first believed was another military aircraft. Brunson attempted to intercept the object, but according to the intelligence report, it appeared to maneuver around his fighter, climbing from 20,...

Disclosure: I’m involved with Alien Watch, the site linked below. We’ve updated our PURSUE dossier with the seventh official release, published on 23 October 2026. We downloaded all 28 new PDFs and counted 1,139 pages. The update includes the complete file catalogue, page counts, official download links and initial close readings. One detail worth checking in the 2026 triangular-object reports: • AARO’s DOW-UAP-D176 describes roughly 10 seconds of ascent, 20 seconds of hovering, then a 2–3 se...

It's us again, again?! WAR.GOV just dropped tranche 7, and as usual we've indexed it and made it searchable/filterable on clearthesignal.com 28 new records this time: One from June of this year, and Skinwalker Ranch makes an appearance. Here's what jumped out at us: The 2026 triangle [DOW-UAP-D176] + [FBI-UAP-D043] This is the newest case in the whole catalog, from June of this year. Two federal agents at a sensitive site out west watched a flat black triangle, about 13 to 15 feet wide, rise...
